Typical wood &/or lumber needed for the Kit Harps include, but are not limited to Western Red Cedar (or South American cedar), Maple, Poplar, Paulownia, various Baltic Birch (Finnish) plywood, Aircraft Birch plywood, select hardwoods (like Red Oak for a few components), Luan-brand plywood, finished Birch laminated plywood lumber, & Spruce.
Various knotty pines & other wood composites are not recommended. It is best to avoid all standard plywood.
For Sound Boards, only Luan multiply, Spruce & Paulownia are recommended. All other plywood is definitely never recommended for any Sound Board use.
